e-ASHA: Timely Payment and Incentive Management for ASHAs
e-ASHA is a free Android application developed by National Health Mission Odisha. It aims to ensure the timely payment of ASHA (Accredited Social Health Activist) incentives while maintaining accuracy and transparency. The app is designed to support the motivation of ASHAs and the achievement of health indicators.
The main features of e-ASHA include month-wise entry of claims for each ASHA based on their performed activities. This categorization of activities simplifies the process for ASHAs. Additionally, the app allows data entry at the source level, reducing the likelihood of errors. ANMs (Auxiliary Nurse Midwives) are also notified through the app regarding the approval and modification of incentives.
